Week 2 my blog about reflections of principles of persuasion.

My blog this week will be about the short cut that Dr Caldini speaks about in his book
Influence, and how they can be viewed in my line of work.

The six shortcuts Dr Caldini speaks about is:

1: Reciprocity;Means that people are obliged to give back what you have given them in the
first place.

2: Scarcity; People want more of what there is less off.

3: Autohority: People follow creditable knowledgeable experts

4: Consistency; Looking for and asking for commitment that can be made.

5: Liking; 3 different types, we like people whom are similar to us, people who pay us
compliments, and people who co-operate with us.

6: Consensus;People will look to the actions of others to determine their own.

I would argue that in my line of business consistency, authority, consensus, liking and
scarcity is the ones that are the most important ones. I haven't made any
internal ranking between them. My explanation why is; Consistency is important because
we sell more than one product, if they have agreed or decided to take one
product we have a bigger chance to add on sales with other produces. Authority
is important due to that we have a technical product and we sell solution which
means that we offer services which our customers also can have within their own
company. Consensus are important due to that the customers are looking into
what other are doing and if they have a successful way of changing or doing
differently, the rest of them tend to follow. Scarcity is an factor that is
more difficult, it has been a factor during the year but this is probably more
due to lacking volume in the market...

Learning more about psychological aspects behind customer experiance will be really interesting. I'm still struggling though to cope with the technical side of things....

This module will be of great help when ut comes to understanding mechanism behind customer experiance. Hopefully will this module help me to learn more about how to keep up with expectations and whiches!

Will be doing seminars with two different customers next week. One of them beeing a new customer which we just have started to deliver to. Will be interesting to see if our service and products will be meeting their expectaions!

Hello!

I'm really excited to take the course and
learning more about social Medias which I have little experience of so
far!  All of the topics seem interesting
but particularly the psychological and interaction parts. I'm working today in
B2B sales for a Swedish forest company. I started the position as sales manager
last year and I'm now eager to try to learn more about what aspects there are
behind my customer's experiences and how to develop both myself and my
work.  I have been studying at Karlstad
University; I am married and have two kids.

Looking forward to interact with all of you!
